Visit of EU Delegation
in BiH to RTVFBiH
A joint delegation from the European Unionand the "Innovation.Media.Minds" (IMM)program, led by the Goethe-Institut, visited Radio-Television of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (RTVFBiH) to assess progress on an EU-funded innovation grant and explore new opportunities for collaboration aimed at strengthening public service journalism in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
RTVFBiH has been a key partner of the IMM initiative since signing a Memorandum of Understanding in May 2024. With the support of a €60,000 innovation grant awarded in September 2024, the broadcaster has launched an ambitious modernization effort to:

The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment of the European Union, Goethe-Institut, and RTVFBiHto advancing innovation, public trust, and youth participation in public service media across the Western Balkans.
Managed by the Goethe-Institut, on behalf of the European Commission and in collaboration with its implementing partner DW Akademie, the EU-funded "Innovation. Media. Minds: EU Support to Public Service Journalism in the Western Balkans" continues to play a crucial role in supporting the Western Balkans' journey towards European integration, demonstrating the power of strategic funding in transforming public service media.

- Adopt digital-first workflows and expand multimedia content production across TV, web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Enhance technical infrastructure with mobile journalism (MoJo) equipment and staff training.
