BHRT Workshop Boosts Program Promotion BHRT Edis Veljkovic

EU-funded Innovation. Media. Minds. Program, is holding a workshop for Bosnian national broadcaster BHRT on program promotion from 10 -14 February 2025 in Sarajevo, BiH.

The training includes overview of current processes, challenges and opportunities, drawing on examples from other public service media such as Deutsche Welle (DW) and Croatia’s HRT. It covers how to develop promotional content, analyze its outcomes, optimize workflows, and plan next steps for BHRT. The sessions include practical exercises to ensure the strategies are actionable and impactful.

At the start of the workshop, BHRT Deputy Director General Lejla Babović addressed attendees emphasizing the importance of the training in enhancing BHRT’s program promotion efforts and social media presence, particularly as the broadcaster marks its 80th anniversary.

The workshop is being facilitated by Ana Šaronja, a producer at HRT, and Jakov Leon, a consultant from DW Akademie. Their combined expertise brings valuable insights into strengthening public service media promotion and audience engagement.

The Innovation. Media. Minds. program is managed by the Goethe-Institut on behalf of the European Commission, with its implementing partner DW Akademie. It focuses on supporting public service broadcasters by enhancing content, engaging audiences, and fostering regional cooperation and networking.
