Rush Hour
Installation and Performance

Marcelline Mandeng Nken, born in Yaoundé, Cameroon, works with sculpture and time-based media. Her practice explores themes of syncretism, non-human intelligence, and labor traditions from the Global South.
Mandeng Nken develops and presents a preview of the first two acts of her performance installation Rush Hour, which unfolds as a cinematic narrative in a moving train, addressing migration, displacement, and time travel.
