In her first solo exhibition in the Midwest, Lagos-based artist Temitayo Ogunbiyi explores the healing powers and cultural meanings of plants through drawings, paintings, sculpture, and a new outdoor commission. Honoring the cancer journey of a close friend from Chicago, Ogunbiyi reflects on botanical traditions, friendship, and language across geographies. Community programs will include food-centered gatherings, a bespoke ice cream flavor, and creative reuse of vintage furniture.
