Originally from Dortmund, Germany, Jasmin moved to the United States seven years ago. Over the past eleven years, she has taught German as a Foreign Language, English as a Foreign Language, and Social Studies at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Germany, India, and the U.S.
Most recently, she taught in the Middle and High School sections at the German International School in Boston. Through a variety of teaching and administrative roles across different schools and language programs, Jasmin gained extensive experience in curriculum design, curriculum writing, and program evaluation and development. Working with students from grades 1–12 has given her a deep appreciation for the importance of holistic and sustainable language programs.
In the summer of 2025, Jasmin transitioned out of classroom teaching. She now oversees the GEM program for the Goethe-Institut and also works as a project employee for the Career Bridge, through which she brings high school students to Germany to explore the country’s dual vocational education system.
