Learn German quickly and effectively

The Intensive German Course takes place from Monday to Friday and is focussed entirely on quick, lasting learning success! Intensive support and daily repetition of learning content allow quick progress to be made. In classes with a maximum of 16 participants, you will be guided closely by one of our highly qualified Goethe teachers. The learning materials are provided free of charge. Furthermore, you can use our well-equipped media library for independent study.

In addition to the language lessons, the intensive German course also includes a varied cultural and leisure programme. Exciting excursions allow participants to discover Frankfurt and the surrounding area, putting their German language skills into practice and getting to know German culture.

The Goethe-Institut Frankfurt is located in the heart of the city, not far from the banks of the Main River. In your free time outside of class, unwind in the idyllic Bethmannpark next door – a peaceful green oasis – or explore the nearby old town, home to historic landmarks like the Goethe House and the medieval town hall. The impressive skyscrapers that characterise Frankfurt's famous skyline are also within easy reach of the institute. The Main Tower offers the highest viewing platform and breathtaking views across the entire city.

The Course System

With us, you can profit from a modular system of courses at levels A1 to C2. Courses are geared to each other and can be combined together. We’ll asses your suitable course level with a placement test before commencing the course.

The number of lessons that are generally required to reach a certain level and take the relevant exam for the Goethe certificate is based on experience. Individual factors such as language learning experience and the other languages you speak or have learnt already play an important role in this. To achieve an optimum learning success, we will assess your level prior to the course.
