How long does an Intensive German Course last?

A two-week Intensive German Course costs 699 euros. A four-week Intensive German Course costs 1348 euros. A six-week Intensive German Course costs 1997 euros. For courses in July and August, the price increases by 50 euros per two weeks.

Do I need previous knowledge to do an Intensive German Course?

You don’t need any previous knowledge to do an Intensive German Course at Level A1. To do an Intensive German Course at Level A2, you will need knowledge of German at Level A1. To do an Intensive German Course at Level B1, you will need knowledge of German at Level A2. To do an Intensive German Course at Level B2, you will need knowledge of German at Level B1. Our free placement test will determine which Intensive German Course is the right one for you.

What does an Intensive German Course cost?

A 2-week Intensive German Course costs EUR 699. A 4-week Intensive German Course costs 1348 Euro. A 6-week Intensive German Course costs 1997 Euro. For dates in July and August the course price increases by 50 Euro per 2 weeks.

Will I get a certificate of participation?

Yes, you will get a certificate of participation after you have attended the intensive course.

Can I take an exam at the end of the course?

You can book an exam for a Goethe-Zertifikat at the end of the course at our institute. By attending the course, you will receive an exam discount of 20%.

Are there common rooms for course participants?

The Goethe-Institut provides lounge areas for course participants. You can find further information on this in the padlet on the cultural and leisure programme . You can also use our well-equipped media library for independent study or borrow learning materials and material for exam preparation there.

Is the cultural and leisure programme fully included?

We endeavour to offer activities where the costs are covered by the course fee. In some cases, we must charge a small additional fee for individual activities. The additional event fees can be paid in cash directly in the cultural office. Payment by card is unfortunately not possible.

The Intensive German Course takes place from Monday to Friday and is focussed entirely on quick, lasting learning success! Intensive support and daily repetition of learning content allow quick progress to be made. In classes with a maximum of 16 participants, you will be guided closely by one of our highly qualified Goethe teachers. The learning materials are provided free of charge. Furthermore, you can use our well-equipped media library for independent study.

In addition to the language lessons, the Intensive German Course also includes a varied cultural and leisure programme. On exciting outings, the participants can discover Berlin, apply their knowledge of German and get acquainted with the German culture. That makes the learning process even easier!

INTENSIVE COURSES REQUIRED PER LANGUAGE LEVEL

The number of lessons that are usually required to reach a certain level and take the corresponding Goethe certificate are based on experience. Individual aspects such as language learning experience and native language also play an important role. We will grade you before the start of the course in order to ensure optimal learning success.
