STRENGTHENING MINORITY VOICES:
IMM TEAM VISITS RTV HEADQUARTERS

The IMM Team, accompanied by Stéphanie Carette, Project Manager from the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, and Dr. Christoph Veldhues, Director of the Goethe-Institut in Belgrade, visited the headquarters of Radio Television Vojvodina (RTV) in Novi Sad, Serbia on 11 December, 2024. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Sanja Jašarević-Kužić, RTV’s Deputy Director General, along with team members Stefan Radulović and Tamara Pavlov. The RTV team shared insights into their innovative projects developed under the IMM program. RTV’s innovation project grant focuses on strengthening its correspondent network, which reports in 16 minority languages. The project aims to enhance mobile and multimedia journalism skills while empowering young journalists to deliver inclusive, high-quality reporting that reflects the diverse voices of the region.

Managed by the Goethe-Institut, on behalf of the European Commission and in collaboration with its implementing partner DW Akademie, the EU-funded "Innovation. Media. Minds: EU Support to Public Service Journalism in the Western Balkans" continues to play a crucial role in supporting the Western Balkans' journey towards European integration, demonstrating the power of strategic funding in transforming public service media.
